October 4, 2008The youth vote. Much touted when it turns out, much maligned when it doesn't. If the democratic primary is any indication, young people will be turning out en masse in this year's presidential election. This week's GOT DOCS? is from a 19 year old who acted on his frustration that his generation wasn't turning out en mass for the 2004 vote. He ended up with a film, and 23,000 newly registered voters. David Burstein is a 19 year old filmmaker who decided to make a documentary about the youth vote and why it matters.
