Peace isn’t having a good week in the Middle East. Bombs continued to drop on Gaza and right wing fanatics made fast paced gains in Israel’s Knesset. Avigdor Lieberman’s extremist party, Yisrael Beiteinu, picked up 15 seats in the February 10 election (nearly one fourth of the seats needed for a coalition government), even beating out the so-called moderate Labor party, which picked up 14 seats.
