GRIT Group provides a structured forum for ongoing discussion and coordination between GRIT TV producers and organizational partners to effectively platform and promote campaigns, issues, initiatives and comprehensive coverage of the progressive community. The purpose of GRIT Group is to encourage dialogue between the makers of media and the makers of movements. Grassroots and policy  organizations face a formidable battle in any attempt to stake a claim in traditional mainstream media to inform the public about their perspectives on issues and agenda for social change. GRIT Group works to strengthen both the messaging and the medium for these voices of communities frequently never covered in major broadcast media.
